MGMS held its annual Health Careers Forum at Northeast Health Science Magnet High School in Macon, Georgia on April 24, 2015. MGMS President Julian Earls, MD led an interactive discussion between physicians, medical students, and pre-med
students with 9th and 10th grade health careers students.
The Forum addressed how to navigate becoming a physician from high school through medical practice.

  • MGMS Offers several educational community outreach programs while providing scholarships, health forums, mentoring, and sponsorship for health related activities for high school student, medical students, and resident physicians.
  • MGMS has partnered with 99% African-American Northeast Health Science Magnet High School to provide mentoring, health forums and career seminars for students interested in health careers.
